These 'Mani' stones are derived from traditional Buddhist devotional sites often found alongside rivers, rural roads and nearby to temples.
 
 
  One side depicts the eyes of Buddha, representations of Wisdom and Compassion. 
 
 
The other side shows the mantra 'Om Mani Padme Hum.' 
 
 
The stone contains a small hole for use as an incense holder.
